So I have a little zine you can buy at Needles & Pens if you’re in the Bay Area. Simon’s girl Rocky says you should.

But the main thing to report is that I’m gonna be doing a couple animations for Yo Gabba Gabba over the summer, soooooooo stoked!!!

Also, I have this dude working on a new site for me, so I can update more than once a year.

Update - Joel’s new video is up now, I got to lend a quick hand with the early round of animation.

Update: My old skate buddy Ryan sends along a pretty legit bottom grabbing melanchollie from the early 90s, and Mateusz Paszkiewicz writes in to say you should totally check out his Polish skate mag, System.
So I got some good news from Paying in Pain this morning, the shirt I did for them a while back is up for sale now, I think you should consider buying one.

Plus it looks like the decks I did for Kewday are going forward, will put up pics when they’re ready!

I’ve also been doing some actual skateboarding after a couple months off getting used to having a baby and whatnot - here’s Andrew at the park with his idea of a warmup trick.

And here’s one of my all time favorite skaters, Mr. Oba the 54 year old Japanese postman with a clean heelflip on the hip. Look close and you can see he skates with absolutely no griptape now.

Lastly I scored these vintage Rannalli wheels for my Z Roller board, I am so stoked on this it’s not even funny. It’s actually kind of embarrassing.

First of all I wanna congratulate my homie Ganja Randozzi and his wife Lisa on their new little girl Berneva Beatrice (Bebea) Randozzi.

We are having alot of fun with our little buddy, and he’s really getting this crazy little thing called ‘Life’ figured out.

So workwise I got to lend an animation hand on another one of Joel’s awesome jams this week. Doing some deck artwork but I don’t wanna jinx anything by posting it. Got to make my debut as a ‘performance arteest’ for the enigmatic Lee Walton, and working on some zines I’m gonna have available here and maybe this one other place if they’re into it.

OK, Mr. Trussell’s latest masterpiece is up now, go check it out. I am honored to have made the dudes move around from 1:25 to the 2:30 mark. Except the fire, someone really awesome did that.

Then if you wanna get back in the holiday spirit for a bit, have a look at the most ‘Awwwww’ inspiring animation of last Christmas. I got to do one of the backgrounds in there, it’s fun drawing in a totally different way.

Lastly I’m gonna get to be in one of the powerful Mr. Lee Walton’s projects, Remote Instructions - I promise I won’t let you down man.

So I’m down under for the next few weeks, and doing a bunch of work while I’m here, which is just awesome - Got to meet up with the good folks at Kewday and will hopefully be doing something with them in the future (Yes! Yes!!!), working on some Japanese animated weirdness with the mighty Gonzo Rosso.

Had a couple pieces in the Christmas show at Doggett St,

and I’ve rounded out the days by buying the rustiest bike I’ve ever seen and driving around on the wrong side of the road.

Besides that, here’s what’s shakin in November - new Faesthetic out soon, working on a video for Mr. Trussell and gonna be doing a shirt for Threadless select! Oh, and I got to sit in as a ‘translator’ on an interview with Boris for Thrasher - I always imagined my debut in the dark & gnarly would be a boneless cover shot, but whatever.

And here’s the board I did for Omar’s head - let me know if you own a skateboard company and want to make this.

Almost jacket weather again, I don’t like it.

Update - made this little BBQ / Transformer themed thing yesterday as an experiment in straight ahead animation.

So I guess I should maybe consider updating this thing more often than every 2 months.

Main thing to report is that I got to do some skateboard designs for a skate scene in the new animated Batman movie from major ass kickers Studio 4˚C here in Tokyo. Gonna be in the credits and everything! (Thanks, Jamie!!!) Pretty much the biggest thing to happen to me in a while, so of course I forgot to scan the things before handing em over.

The other thing is for the love of the Holy Mother of Sweet Baby Jesus check out the lineup at Rocklahoma!!!! Makes my Oklahoma tattoo weep with pride…

Up-Update - Sieben sends along this dude totally biting my steez in the old fashioned mail, and my man Joe sends video of himself rocking the fuck out with 7 Seconds via the e-mails.

So I breezed through San Francisco last week. Saw a buncha old friends, ate some good food, toured the Anchor Steam brewery, skated under a filthy bridge with a bunch of weird ass homeless types and so on. Click on Pud and he’ll make you a margarita (of photos)!!

Then every now and then things will happen to remind you what it’s all about: gonna have a piece in a charity auction these guys are putting on in June, really honored to be a part of it.

Lastly, I love every single thing about this video, promise you’ll never stop ok guys?
